Shipping policy

1 - CAUTION: Your delivery will be kept frozen with dry ice (solid Carbon Dioxide that looks like normal water ice) at -78 C. It can cause frostbite to touch and suffocation if placed in a closed, unventilated space. When you open the parcel, the dry ice may already have evaporated (sublimated).  If it has not and you see some solid dry ice present, leave the ice bag in the box and remove the Ice Kitchen items. Place the empty transit box and any remaining dry ice in a safe well-ventilated space overnight. The following morning the dry ice will have literally disappeared into thin air and you can recycle the packaging in the usual manner (The box can be recycled at home and plastic bag at large supermarkets, and the insulation is compostable). If you don't plan to open the parcel immediately on receipt or plan to transport it to another location before you open it, then make sure it is moved or stored in a well-ventilated area.

2 - Tracking info and option to reschedule your delivery

You will receive an email/text message from DPD/Frozen Delivered/Chillistick with tracking information on the morning of the delivery. If you're not home, your parcel will be left at your doorstep. It will remain safely frozen for the rest of the day. If the courier offers the option to reschedule your delivery, you should NOT do so. Our parcels will not keep frozen for more than 24 hours from leaving the warehouse. and will therefore arrive defrosted and unsafe to eat if rescheduled.

  • Ice Kitchen cardboard boxes - widely recycled.
  • Plastic film lids - not recycled, place in the black bin.
  • Plastic pots - widely recycled. Bonus: Our pots are made from 100% recycled material.
