Fresh and Frozen?

It has been baked into our language since childhood: we ask ‘is it fresh or frozen?’.

That little ‘or’ is misleading. At Ice Kitchen, we’re taking a stick (or perhaps an ice pick) to that little word.

There need be no choice between ‘fresh’ and ‘frozen’, and we’ve proved it!

In fact, freezing is the superpower that allows us to create our cooking pastes from nothing but fresh ingredients.

The ambient pastes lining the shelves at the supermarket can only sit on those shelves because of the pasteurization they’ve been through (which flattens flavour) or the preservatives listed in their ingredients (with their unnervingly unfamiliar names).

So, head to the freezer section and see that frozen has been redefined as fresh, flavourful, and fabulous!
